Zwelibanzi Valentino Msweli moved from the West Rand of Gauteng to KZN to study Law. Despite his academic ambitions, he has been interested in entrepreneurship from a young age – and in 2016 he opened Nongalos Internet Café. The café provides internet and computer services to rural communities, in Maphumulo, which lack such resources. Nongalos Internet Café initially offered printing and copying services, but through its Touch Tomorrow program extended the offering, in 2017, to computer and digital training, including the use of mobile phones. The Touch Tomorrow program is focussed on school children and community members. From a humble beginning with limited resources, the company now has access to two desktop computers, two laptops, two printers and an uncapped WIFI router.
